ABOUT ME

I was ten when I filmed my first “movie” on my mom’s old Samsung phone.

Back then, I watched BTS, Michael Jackson and Queen, and I believed their music videos were portals - windows into another, more magical world.

Something in me knew: I want to create worlds too.

I filmed everything I saw: picnics, shops, my brothers sweeping the floor.

Everything looked cinematic to me - everything carried emotion.

Years later, at seventeen, I suddenly understood something deeper:

women around me didn’t see their own beauty.

I watched my mother lose her spark.

I watched my friends hide behind insecurities.

I watched women shrink themselves, doubt themselves, apologise for existing.

So I made myself a promise:

I will help women see themselves the way I see them.

When I bought my first camera at eighteen, the first person I filmed was my mom.

She cried watching her video.

Not from sadness - from recognition.

From finally seeing herself soft, powerful, alive.

That moment changed everything.

Since then, I’ve filmed women who changed their jobs, left wrong relationships, found confidence, healed parts of themselves - all after seeing their own magic on screen.

My work isn’t about posing.

It’s about connection.

It’s about truth.

It’s about the feeling that stays with you long after the camera turns off.

I didn’t grow up with comfort.

I worked in McDonald’s, did cleaning jobs, learned life from the very bottom.

Maybe that’s why I value every story, every moment, every woman who stands in front of my lens.

Life taught me that nothing is guaranteed - except the beauty we choose to create.

Every film I make is a love letter:

to women,

to art,

to the softness and the strength inside each of us.

I create because I know how it feels to not see your worth -

and because I know how powerful it is when someone finally shows you.

With love,

Anna Daliss
